Why it's convenient to buy bare-root plants
Although we offer our customers the possibility to purchase potted roses during the spring-summer season, we believe that bare-root roses planted from November to mid-March have optimal rooting success and offer numerous advantages.
The advantages of bare-root roses
- The plant forms its new root system directly in the planting soil.
- The range of bare-root varieties is significantly wider than that of potted roses.
- Bare-root plants cost less than potted ones.
Easy to grow
Since they are planted during their dormant period and the soil is generally moist, they do not require special care or abundant watering after planting.
